There you are at the doctor’s office, waiting atop the paper-covered exam table. It can be especially stressful if you’re not feeling well or are worried about your health. Then the moment arrives, the doctor steps in and it’s your chance to explain how you’re doing and try to get some answers.

But doctor visits sometimes don’t go as planned and you might leave feeling less than satisfied. Think of it this way: Doctors spend years learning how to be a doctor. But no one teaches us how to be patients.
