For many people, summer brings thoughts of warm weather, picnics and maybe a trip to the beach. For others living in coastal cities in warmer regions of the world, summer can also mean that it’s hurricane season.

For people living with rare diseases, severe storms can cause additional challenges on top of those faced by everyone else. In this short video, three patients living with common variable immune deficiency (CVID), one of more than 400 types of primary immunodeficiencies (PI), share their experiences and offer some tips for weathering big storms.
