Like so many events, the fourth annual Santa event for CSL Behring Kankakee families looked a little different this year. The Kankakee, Illinois, team kept it out-of-doors with a drive-through Santa event for employees and their families, also featuring Mrs. Claus and Buddy the Elf. Families drove through the parking lot on CSL Behring’s south campus, where children could wave and say hello to Santa while staying in the safety of their car.
Before the event, the kids were invited to write letters to Santa, which could be dropped in a North Pole Express mailbox fabricated and decorated by the maintenance team. The children received treat bags that contained traditional treats and – in 2020 style – a holiday-themed face mask and hand sanitizer.
