Michael Joshua is a college-bound high school senior from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In addition to being a competitive swimmer and a dedicated student who has never missed a day of class, Michael is living with the rare bleeding disorder hemophilia B. His mother, Shonda, has prepared him for leaving the nest by making sure he will have access to everything he needs to stay healthy when he is away at school.
