CSL Behring employees participate in basketball drills with local professional players

Employees at CSL Behring’s biotech facility in Marburg got a touch of March Madness this week with some basketball training from athletes who play for the women’s professional league in Germany.

Six employees who work daily to produce medicines for rare disease patients won a chance to practice coordination, ball handling and stretching. The event was a part of the Marburg site’s Simply Healthy initiative. Soccer still rules in Germany but, except for a few sore muscles, the employees enjoyed the opportunity to learn from the women who play for BC Marburg.

Meanwhile, in the states, college hoops fans are settling in for the first big weekend of games in the NCAA Tournament. Former college basketball standout and CSL Behring Senior Vice President and General Manager of North America Commercial Operations Bob Lojewski knows a thing or two about the sport. Learn how he applies lessons learned on the court to his career in biotech as CSL Behring’s general manager for North America.
