Employees from CSL Behring in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, were recently among 36 other teams from the Philadelphia region who participated in the 10th annual Ronald McDonald House Plane Pull. The event challenged teams of up to 20 individuals to pull a 76,000-pound plane across the tarmac of Atlantic Aviation in Philadelphia. Teams were allowed to pick their own theme songs to take them onto the tarmac and were encouraged to dress in costumes. The CSL Behring squad donned grey sweats in honor of Philly’s mythic pugilist Rocky Balboa and pulled the plane as Rocky’s theme song, “Gonna Fly Now,” played on the loudspeakers. Though the team’s 14.2-second time didn’t place them in the top spot for the competition, the real winner of the event was the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, as the fundraiser collected a total of over $165,000 for the charity.
