Thanksgiving week in the U.S. is all about family, so it’s the perfect time to share Roberta’s story. She places family at the center of her life and even plays in a family band.

Roberta says she’s most energized by helping people. To that end, she’d like to see more people who struggle with bleeding problems get accurately diagnosed. Von Willebrand disease is the most common hereditary bleeding disorder, yet many people live with its symptoms without a proper diagnosis and treatment. Some symptoms include frequent nose bleeds and bruising from minor injuries. Watch Roberta’s story to learn more.
