More than 120 kids and teens from across the U.S. gathered in Phoenix last weekend to celebrate sports at the Gettin’ in the GameSM Junior National Championship. This fun and friendly competition and educational event developed by CSL Behring is the only national championship specifically for children with bleeding disorders, like hemophilia and von Willebrand disease. Baseball competition (pictured above) took place at Salt River Fields, the spring training home of Major League Baseball’s Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies. The big league setting was a fitting way to show how kids with bleeding disorders thrive on and off the field.
