Investment in R&D
CSL is investing in the development of new protein-based medicines for treating serious human diseases. We provide funding for short-, medium-, and long-term growth returns. In 2008/09, we invested over AUD$300m into our R&D programs. In 2009/10, R&D investments continue to increase. We are committed to maintaining and improving our current products, while we continue to allocate additional funds to biotechnology projects, particularly for therapeutic proteins.
